We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Maintenance Control Centre (MCC) Officer to join a dynamic operations team supporting a fleet 24/7. This role is critical to ensuring aircraft airworthiness, operational reliability, and on-time performance by coordinating with multiple departments including Maintenance, Engineering, Flight Ops, and Logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 24/7 support under a rotating shift schedule.
- Coordinate real-time defect rectification, spare parts availability, and maintenance support.
- Oversee the preparation and release of aircraft to service with minimal delays.
- Monitor recurring defects and work with Engineering to provide effective technical solutions.
- Assist flight crews at remote stations with troubleshooting and defect deferment decisions.
- Lead AOG recovery efforts by arranging personnel, tooling, and parts.
- Track and manage Deferred Defect Records (DDR), ensuring MEL/CDL compliance.
- Maintain liaison with logistics and stores to ensure resource readiness.
- Support internal reporting and contribute to safety and quality improvement processes.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in aviation maintenance or continuing airworthiness environment.
- Familiarity with DHC 8-400 aircraft (minimum requirement).
- Strong knowledge of EASA, ENAC, and relevant aviation regulations.
- Solid understanding of human factors and logistics within an operational context.
- Confident communicator with excellent coordination and systems skills.
